HMS Software announces the release of TimeControl 8.5 with a remarkable list of new features
Montreal, December 13, 2023 – HMS Software, a leader in project and timesheet systems since 1984 has released TimeControl version 8.5. This is one of the most extensive releases of TimeControl in years and every edition of TimeControl includes new features and enhancements to existing features.
“This version of TimeControl is a big deal,” says Chris Vandersluis, president of HMS Software. “Both our on-premise systems and in-the-cloud editions are going to enjoy major new functionality. We’ve been working on TimeControl 8.5 for some time and this represents the most expansive functionality in an upgrade in 3 years. More then ever, to be competitive, companies need to be able to determine not just how much time their employees are spending but what they are spending it on.”
This version of TimeControl includes new and enhanced features for all editions of TimeControl including TimeControl on-premise, TimeControl Industrial on-premise, TimeControl Online and TimeControl Industrial Online the TimeControl Software as a Service subscriptions and TimeControl Project, the premium version of TimeControl Online as well as the free TimeControl Mobile App.
“We have been working hard on these changes for over a year,” explains Stephen Eyton-Jones, HMS Software’s Director of Technical Services. “This version includes not only some important and noteworthy features, it also includes a completely new module called TimeControl BI which is now a part of every TimeControl edition.”
TimeControl 8.5 includes new features such as the all-new TimeControl BI module which will allow companies to create visualization dashboards of their TimeControl data as it trends over weeks, months and years. In addition, there is a new Debit/Credit adjustment module, enhancements to the options for approving time-off requests and over 50 other new or enhanced features.
The TimeControl 8.5 upgrade is available now for existing on-premise clients of TimeControl and TimeControl Industrial with a current support and maintenance agreement at no additional charge from the TimeControl upgrades site: TimeControl.com/support/updates.
TimeControl 8.5 Online will be upgraded automatically for TimeControl Online, TimeControl Industrial Online and TimeControl Project subscription clients in the first week of January.
